Cambria Math is installed on the Windows computer, that's why the equations have the proper appearance there. It's the only font that currently works with the equation editor and if it's missing or uninstalled, Word will silently substitute a different font and your math characters will not display correctly. Please check that you still have the Cambria Math font installed. This has been bugging me for over the past few months and it makes it very inconvenient for me to switch to my Windows laptop whenever I wish to view any of my math notes. Is there any fix for this? I’ve tried installing MathType 6.7h but it is only compatible for Word 2011. However, the document does appear fine when I view it through Microsoft word on Windows. I’m currently using Word to view some Math notes for academic use on my Macbook Pro, but many of the math symbols, from complex ones like integration signs, to even simple ones like minus signs are not visible and don’t show up in the document.
